Attorney Barbara C. Long
Portland Sex Abuse Attorney
Barbara is an experienced litigator, whose practice focuses on representing survivors of sexual abuse in civil actions against the individuals and institutions responsible for the abuse. She knows her way around a courtroom, having tried numerous cases to verdict and argued countless motions and contested hearings. As part of her practice, Barbara also volunteers for the Legal Aid Services of Oregon-Volunteer Lawyers Project and the Victim Rights Law Center, representing individuals in contested restraining order hearings against their abusers. Prior to joining Vogt & Long, P.C. in 2012, Barbara practiced for five years in Chicago where she litigated Section 1983 police misconduct cases, personal injury matters, and represented criminal defendants.
In her spare time, Barbara enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, playing board games, listening to records, and ogling other people's dogs. Barbara lives in Northeast Portland with her husband and two children.
